What This Site Is
Business Grants for Women is a free, independent website. We research, find, and list grant programs, funding contests, and business resources that are open to women entrepreneurs in the United States.
That's it. We are not a government office. We don't work for any agency. We don't handle money. We don't process applications. We are simply a research resource that saves you time.
We Research
We dig through government sites, nonprofits, and private programs to find real opportunities.
We List
We write up each program in plain English — who qualifies, how much, and where to apply.
We Link
We point you straight to the official source. You apply there, not here.
Always Free
We never charge you anything. This site is free to use for everyone.
What We Are NOT
We want to be upfront because there are many misleading sites out there. Here is what we are not:
- We are not a government agency or affiliated with any government office.
- We do not give out grants, loans, or any money.
- We do not sell grants. No one can sell you a grant — grants are free by definition.
- We do not charge fees to help you apply. Anyone who charges you to "get a grant" is a scam.
- We do not guarantee you will receive funding.
- We do not collect your personal information for applications.
Why We Built This
Finding grants takes a huge amount of time. Programs are spread across government sites, nonprofit pages, and private organization websites — many of them hard to find and harder to understand.
We built this site to make that process simpler. We want every woman with a business idea to be able to find funding options fast, without needing to be an expert in grant research.
How We Make Money
This site runs display ads through Google AdSense. That means you may see ads while reading our content. The ads pay for the research, writing, and upkeep of this site.
We do not earn commissions or referral fees from any grant program. We do not get paid to list or promote any specific program over another.
How We Find Grant Programs
We search government databases, state websites, nonprofit organizations, and private foundations to find programs that accept applications from women business owners. We check for current deadlines and eligibility rules before publishing.
Grant programs change often. Deadlines pass. Programs get paused or canceled. We do our best to keep everything up to date, but we strongly recommend you check the official program website for the latest details before applying.
A Note on Accuracy
We work hard to keep our information correct, but we are a small team and things change fast. Always check the official source before making decisions based on what you read here. We are not responsible for changes to programs after we publish.
